Electrical Maintenance Tech

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Tech in Georgetown, KY . As an Electrical Maintenance Tech you will be responsible for safety, quality, production and preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities for this Electrical Maintenance Tech job include

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine layout of wiring and equipment

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems

• Perform electrical work in accordance with local, state and national electrical codes/regulations

• Use hand tools and power tools to install and connect wiring, switches, and other electrical components

• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems for proper operation and safety, make necessary repairs/replacements

• Installation of switch gear, motors, transformers, etc, experience with PLC, Robotics, Servo drives

• Write, program, troubleshoot, modify/repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics and other electronic equipment including but not limited to hydraulic, pneumatic and machine components

• Modifies and writes logic control programs, diagnosis of electrical, mechanical, plumbing problems and apply corrective action

• Experience in programming/troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC's, Kawasaki Robots, as well as electrical circuits and controls

Qualifications

• Industrial Electrician experience a plus

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints

• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems

• Familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

• Technical knowledge and skills in: PLC's, Computer Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends and shutdowns

• Must have reliable transportation

• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English

• MUST be able to pass background check, physical and hair follicle drug test

• Electrical degree, diploma or certification a plus

• Documentation of any state Journeyman's Electrical License current or expired a plus

Pay Details: $23.50 to $41.50 per hour
