    The Role

    • Ensure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of work performed by technicians

    • Perform inspections post install to ensure compliance to client specifications

    • Complete reviews to ensure proper restoration of area

    • Capture photos and attach to the inspection report

    • White line excavations and collects locate data

    • Verifies the system is complying with all safety requirements

    • Performs work in a safe manor, following all OSHA and company guidelines

    • Prioritize, organize, and efficiently complete tasks to meet deadlines

    • Work in a variety of outdoor environments

    • Drives company vehicles responsibly and safely

    • Conducts and attends meetings as needed

    Requirements

    • Prior telecommunications industry experience preferred

    • Knowledge of both aerial and underground practices and specifications

    • Experience in both aerial and underground equipment

    • Valid driver's license

    • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)

    • Experience with underground locates and the ability to use a compass for directional instructions

    • Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to utilize hand tools for intended purposes

    • Ability to travel daily and open to a variety of schedules

    • Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    • Ability to learn and operate testing equipment and software/programs

    • Ability to utilize hand tools, identify wire size/color and accurately utilize measuring devices

    • Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds)

    • Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time

    • Ability to safely navigate various terrains, managing equipment and tools

    • A body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely. Safety is our #1 Priority. If personal safety is not compromised, an accommodation may be available based on previous ladder experience in a similar role.

    • Perform construction coordination functions with customers and areas assigned.

    • Coordinate and maintain assigned projects.

    • Ensure that all company property in use by employees is properly maintained.

    • Will adhere to all Company and departmental policies, standards and established procedures.

    Salary Description

    $28+/hr DOE
