  • Staff Designer - Sales

    The Staff Designer position sells Platinum Pools product using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation.

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • · Respond to all customer inquiries the same day via email, phone text, or any other type
    • of contact, and log into CRM.
    • · Convert all inquiries into a sales lead within three (3 days) of initial contact, and try to set-up
    • and notate in CRM.
    • · Ensure CRM is updated daily with 1st appointments, Be Backs, and any other
    • relevant information pertaining to the sales process and task.
    • · Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer vision and budget for project,
    • · Create presentation based off of customer’s vision.
    • · Manage design appointment in designated appointment time.
    • · Properly prepare for each consultation by having survey, plan, flood plain info,
    • municipality requirements, etc.
    • · Proficient in assisting customers in materials selection process,
    • · Knowledgeable in project features and equipment selections,
    • · Design, price and have video to home-owner within 24-hour.
    • · Take multiple pictures of the property regarding backyard and access and upload in CRM.
    • · Competent in 11 Steps of Success.
    • · Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s sales programs (CRM, CAD design
    • software etc.)
    • · Maintain minimum sales standards set by Platinum Pools: lead to appointment completed
    • ratio 80%, Be Back completed ratio of 70% and closing ratio of 35%,
    • · Responsible for project construction plans.
    • · Review drawings with customers in detail to ensure construction expectations are
    • met, and have customer sign off on drawings.
    • · Audit all sales paperwork for accuracy prior to being entered in Construction software.
    • · Make sure all Tile and Coping selection sheets are completed prior to being sent
    • to Construction.
    • · For projects that have not been excavated, contact Customer every Monday, and place notes
    • in Construction software until project is excavated.
    • · Contact customers for projects that are currently under construction every Friday, and place
    • notes in Construction software, and follow-up with customer throughout the construction process to ensure the customer’s expectations are met.
    • · Responsible for writing an Addendum for every customer change until the pool is excavated.
    • · Follow the proper back charges procedure set by Platinum Pools.
    • · Participates in sales forecasting and planning.
    • · Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with
    • all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines.
    • · Performs other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS 

    • ·2 to 3 years of experience in similar positions
    • · Sales experience preferred, but not required

    • This job operates in an indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, with occasions of being subjected to temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
    • Physical demands

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
