In order to be considered, applicant must be experienced in the design of automatic fire sprinkler systems to include site-survey, field routing of piping, drafting, hydraulic calculations, AHJ submittals, and material listing. Applicant must be proficient with AutoCad, HydraCad, or AutoSprink programs. Applicant will be required to pass background and drug screening.

Duties:

• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial applications.

• Assist Design Manager with oversight, training, and mentoring of design staff.

• Provide technical assistance for multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel.

Qualifications:

• Three years' experience in fire sprinkler design

• NICET Level II or higher certification

• Must be familiar with NFPA standards and FM Global guidelines.

• Technical understanding of fire sprinkler design including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoSPRINK and MS Office programs

• Texas RME-G license a plus

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
