OSP Directional Bore Operator

Description

• This company is one of the largest Telecommunications Vendors in DMV and has a large present across the East Coast. They provide full turnkey solutions for both wireless and wireline sectors. Their wireless sectors are split up into a few groups, but ultimately support the major carriers.

• This position will be supporting the OSP for both wireline and wireless sectors.

• The operator will be working with a 4 man crew to perform underground telecommunications/utility excavation, conduit/cable placement, and ground restoration.

• The crew is made up of a foreman, operator, and 2 laborers.

• They need to have solid experience working/maintaining on a directional Bore.

• This company uses the Vermeer brand and feel confident maneuvering around underground placements.

• They also need to be able to provide direction to get the rest of the job done to the Helper and Tech II.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• "Mixing mud" (drill setup/maintenance)

• Reliable, dependable, team-player. (Operator's sole job is not to just operate the drill but to be involved in all team duties to help drive project efficiencies)

• Provide daily maintenance to equipment.

• Work Ethic, Ability to Drive Company Vehicles, Flexibility, Does not mind working in various weather conditions
