    They have an immediate need for an MEP Superintendent for a long-term construction project in Hopkinsville, KY.

    S ummary

    • Working onsite with the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing field crews and supervising subcontractors in the construction of an EV Battery recycling facility.

    • Working onsite with the union field crews and supervising subcontractors in the construction of the project.

    • Supervisory responsibilities, in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    • Responsibilities may include assisting with interviewing and training employees.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage several Foreman on conducting work safely, productively, and focusing on quality.

    • Interface with on-site crews to resolve problems and ensure quality of construction in support of the overall project schedule.

    • Ensure project activities comply with company and contract requirements and support the overall construction schedule (Primavera P6).

    • Provide technical support for construction efforts including participation in planning and design, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, etc.

    • Assist with controlling job costs and production budgets.

    • Set a Safety 24/7 culture for your crews.

    • Assists the Project Manager in creating the Primavera P6 project schedule.

    • Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.

    • Oversee costs associated with your work items.

    • Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling, and material needs for crews.

    • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.

    Education and Experience:

    • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical experience progressing through the ranks as a Journeyman to a Foreman to a Superintendent.

    • 6+ years of similar construction Field Management experience

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied self-performing trade disciplines.

    • Ability to ensure responsibility, interface, and communicate effectively with others.
