Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

Plans and implements maintenance and landscaping of hospitals' grounds. Maintains clean and safe campus grounds.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

• Preferred Education: Associate Degree in Horticulture or Landscaping area preferred.

• Required License: Must have a valid NC driver's license or procure one within 30 days of employment unless an out-of-state commuter, at least two years of satisfactory driving experience and be at least 18 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines.

• Required Experience: Landscaping and gardening experience.

• Preferred Experience: Two years of experience in gardening or landscaping for a large operation.

Highlands-Cashiers Hospital (~~~/) is a community hospital serving Macon, Jackson and the surrounding counties. Located between the towns of Highlands and Cashiers, the hospital offers 24/7 emergency care, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, as well as long-term care through Eckerd Living Center. Ambulatory services are also available, including therapy services and primary care. Highlands-Cashiers Hospital has more than 24 beds for acute care services and 80+ beds in the Eckerd Living Center.
