Mechanical Installer

Position Summary: Installation of light duty, commercial truck, and van equipment.

Essential Job Functions and Duties

• Installation of shelving, truck ladder racks, truck boxes, and other work truck accessories
• Staging all products prior to installation, per the individual work order
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work bay to facilitate efficient installations
• Adhere to established safety and quality control production standards
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plus
• ASE Certification is a plus
• Previous mechanical work experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools

• Candidates must successfully complete criminal and submit to a motor vehicle background check

Skills:

• Ability to follow diagrams, written and verbal instruction
• Ability to work with others and possess good communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrable ability to use hand tools, including air tools

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Able to function capably in a production environment, working around moving vehicles, assembly and installation bays
• Frequently lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Must be able to work outside on occasion
• Ability to work in a loud environment
• Participate and comply with required company safety programs, training, and PPE guidelines.
• Hours- Monday- Friday 7:30am- 4:30pm
