The pay rate for this job is $18 - $30 / hour

Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints.

• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape and fit sheet metal parts.

• Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.

• Install sheet metal roofing systems, gutters, and downspouts.

• Inspect and troubleshoot installed systems to identify and resolve problems.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

 Qualifications:

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and materials

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Experience with hand and power tools used in sheet metalinstallation

• Ability to accurately measure and cut sheet metal to fit specific dimensions and angles

• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy pieces of sheet metal

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on the job Good communication skills 

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
