Job Description

Heavy Industrial Utility Worker: highway worked preferred. Performs general cleanup, assist all crafts in material preparation, dismantling of equipment, flags traffic, fire watch, distribute potable drinking water, and assist other crafts as needed. Other duties as assigned. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes and works efficiently, cooperatively, and jointly to provide a cost-effective quality product. Detail-oriented with the ability to process information quickly and accurately. Takes initiative and prioritizes tasks: organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills. Dependable and able to work independently with little supervision as well as with a team of individuals. Assist in training less-experienced employees to further their abilities.

In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, Responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers in compliance with all company and OSHA regulations. Conduct daily safety meetings, and ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA and company standards.
