Framing Carpenter

Description:

General contractor with over 40 years in business is in search of framing carpenters to support upcoming commercial project and join their growing team.

Employees will be working within the Syracuse region on crews of 5+ other, tenured employees. Medical benefits, PTO, and 401k provided. Prevailing rate work will be available with upcoming projects.

Carpenters will be working at new build commercial sites and be responsible for

• Building walls, stairs, doorways

• Metal or wood stud framing

• Hanging and finishing drywall

• Using hand, power, and measuring tools

Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience on commercial or residential construction sites

• Wood or metal framing

• Finish carpentry experience beneficial but not mandatory

• Must carry an OSHA 10 certification or be willing to obtain

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday

• First Shift

• Concrete or forming experience beneficial for additional company projects

• Apprenticeship programs available
