The Floor tech person will perform Floor Tech cleaning duties inside nuclear plant.

Essential Functions

• ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Floorperson.

• The Floor person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning. Also responsible for using safety measures in work areas also willing to complete other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning nuclear floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications

• Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors

• Cleans areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer Service Experience

• 1 yr of similar work experience
