Facility Equipment Operator II

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Facility in Redwood City, CA is hiring Facility Equipment Operators. We are looking for individuals with construction/landscaping background and not much warehouse experience. Looking for someone who lives 50 miles or less from the facility. In this position, you will operate excavators and hauls trucks on the customer site. In addition to operating heavy equipment, you will be tasked with unloading waste from incoming trucks.

Hours: Please note the candidate must be flexible with the start time at 6am, 7am or 10am, and that we will ask to change to any of these times

depending on the business conditions.

Pay: $30.00 hour

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;

• Completes daily checklist as required for proper operation of the unit being operated;

• Assures the unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner that is inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures;

• Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements;

• Assures that all containers are properly secured, i.e. chock blocks and jack stands;

• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

QUALIFICATIONS

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• 6+ months of equipment operating experience preferred;

• Experience with an excavator and or haul truck preferred;

• Ability to work in a team environment.
