  • Description:

    Summary: This person starts in the "Fab Packer" role which is entry level to all secondary operation roles in the machine shop. Duties include:

    -Ability to read blueprints and drawings to determine component assembly requirements (very basic)

    -Inspect parts for accuracy and quality

    -Clean, bag, and package product parts

    -Install hardware into products

    -Ability to use ultrasonic cleaning equipment

    -Complete all relevant paperwork and maintain work station properly

    -Adhere to all safety procedures, environmental guidelines and company rules/regulations

    -Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometer, calipers, height gauge

    -Work with scalpels and other deburring tools

    -Able to use vapor polishing

    -Ability to follow directions and coordinate with others

    Skills:

    grind, deburr, package, hand tool, drill press, bevel, document

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    -Proven history of attendance and reliability -Able to communicate in English -Experience in production manufacturing -Experience using shop tools (deburr, polish, tack, etc) -Experience reading schematics to the extent they can locate quantities of
