Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Electrician at our facility you will have the opportunity to be both an expert in your field and a caregiver, providing important services for our patients and staff. Every role has an impact on our patients' lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. You will joining an impressive team that prides themselves on keeping our hospital functioning well and looking its best. In this role:

• You will coordinate all electrical installations and change orders.

• You will ensure that all circuits are in conformance with standard national electric code.

• You will ensure preventative maintenance is performed on electric circuits and control panels.

• You will purchase sufficient material to ensure all systems are maintained in good working order and new work is performed according to codes.

• You will provide friendly, professional interactions with others as you encounter patients, visitors, and other hospital staff throughout your assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• Current State of Utah Electrician's license.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance and construction as a journeyman electrician.

• Must be able to calculate length and shape of conduit systems, assemble such systems with minimal waste; calculate circuit loads, size of protection devices and voltage drops in feeders and branch circuits using standard formulas.

• Able to perform all work at or above Journeyman Electrician skill level; thorough knowledge of applicable codes.

• Must be familiar with computer network and digital controls cabling requirements and program operation criteria.
