    Job Title: Electrician (FDIC)

    Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking an Electrician in Arlington, VA This position is a covered by the CBA for Local 26

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Electricians perform tasks that support the electrical infrastructure for FDIC buildings

    • Install raceways and associated wires.

    • Maintain and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.

    • Provide technical support to engineering staff.

    • Troubleshoot electrical problems.

    • Replace/repair outdated electrical devices.

    • Perform electrical portion of build outs

    • Work with Chief engineers at both locations

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a Journeyman Electrician with at least 2 years of experience in the field

    Physical Demands:

    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds

    • Bending, squatting, kneeling

    • Work in unconditioned spaces as well as outside
