Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Day Shift Excavator Operator for our Troy quarry located in Mill Creek, OK .

What You'll Get To Do

• The Excavator Operator is responsible for loading haul trucks in pit area.

• Conduct a thorough safety inspection daily on equipment and fill out all required paperwork

• Safe, effective utilization of equipment to load haul trucks and clear overburden ahead of mining operation

• Assist in moving pit pumps

• Daily preventive maintenance and lubrication of equipment

• Monitor unusual vibrations, noise or wear patterns and inform supervisor

• Other job duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of four years' experience operating similar equipment

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to operate equipment for long periods of time

• Frequently lift 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

• Have some mechanical knowledge
