  • Description

    Actalent is looking for a construction materials testing Technician (Level I). Applicants will be responsible for construction quality assurance field testing of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt and geosynthetics. Applicants will also be responsible for inspections, monitoring contractor activities and daily reporting.

    Day to Day -

    5-6 days a week / 8-12-hour days

    Will delicate the jobs out / monitor earth worth/backfill pipe, soils work / random concrete pours

    Will train on proof rolls, " cooking dirt" / testing dirt .. "dirt cooker" we cook the moisture out of the dirt.. use drive ring for a sample.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Requires high school diploma/GED Valid Georgia Driver's License Following certificates are a plus, but not required: ACI, NICET, RTT, GSWCC, ICC, OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER, and Nuclear Gauge Certification.
