Construction Laborer

• System One is currently seeking Construction Laborers for industrial cooling tower projects in and around Texas and the surrounding areas. The Construction Laborer role is essential and assists the project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of industrial construction projects. Additional positions available include Foreman, Forklift Operators and Carpenters. TWIC Card required. Apply now for immediate consideration. Rate of pay will depend on level of experience.

Job Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Maintain a clean job site: pick up tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.

• Unloading of incoming material trucks,

• Loading of old materials into trash dumpsters

• Stocking and passing of new materials to the craftsman

• General inventorying of parts and pieces, spotting for the Equipment Operators.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Positions for all levels of experience, from entry level and up

• construction site / laborer experience a strong plus

• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

• Reliable and consistent, with great attendance

• Basic Plus, Confined Space, OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 a strong plus

• TWIC card required

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Industrial Construction environment

• Overtime as needed

• Must be fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50 pounds). Physical requirements including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
