Commercial Carpenter

As an experienced commercial carpenter with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you?ll support commercial, and/or industrial (schools, hospitals, multi-family, hotels, warehouses, etc.) projects in the Oklahoma City area. The pay rate for this job is $22 - $27 / hour

Responsibilities

• Create and reference blueprints throughout a project.

• Construct various frameworks for structures, including walls, ceilings and floors.

• Install fixtures such as cabinets, windows and furniture systems.

• Use machinery, such as boom lifts, to perform duties.

• Cut and shape various materials.

• Ensure structures, framework and materials are up to code and undamaged.

• Follow written and oral instruction given from the supervisor.

• Have the ability to work from heights of 10-40+ ft. with no issues while harnessed in.

• Display strong math skills for measuring, cutting, and installing materials with little to no errors.

 Qualifications:

• 3+ years of carpentry experience.

• Must have all basic hand tools and cordless impact.

• All PPE and their own transportation to get to and from work is a Must!

• Work well as a team or independently, as needed.

• Be reliable and committed to finishing each project until the end with minimal or no absences.

• Demonstrate good communication skills with employer and supervisor.

• Have a positive and results driven attitude to work quickly and efficiently.

• Ability to work in variable weather (cold, heat, windy, etc).

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
