Note: The pay rate for this job is $26 - $27 / hour

Responsibilities

• Operate Asphalt Paver/Roller Spraying asphalt, raking and shoveling, material handling, site cleanup

• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site.

• Perform asphalt paving rolling in accordance with DOT, local and commercial specifications.

• Ability to perform pre-use inspections on equipment. Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists, and work crew.

• Operate roller using specific patterns and forms consistent with top quality paving standards

• Conduct work with proper safety equipment. Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs. and navigate job site terrain.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Most Work Will Occur in Parking Lots, Driveways, And Filling Roads

 Qualifications:

• Some roadworks experience preferred.

• Asphalt paving experience required; minimum 2-3 years in Construction

• Strong analytical ability, quantitative and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills
