Atkins seeks an energetic, highly motivated,detail-oriented, self-starter to join our Tallahassee office as a dway Inspector. Under general supervision, researches andinterprets contracts to determine whether construction work isproceeding in substantial compliance with plans, contracts,specifications and special provisions. Will performs fieldtesting in nuclear density, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt testingor other applicable areas required for roadwayprojects.
Requirements
The appropriately qualified
candidate will have the following core competencies and required
experience:
Current CTQP Certification
in nuclear density, aggregate, concrete and asphalt testing or other
applicable areas.
High school diploma (or
equivalent) plus ten years related experience OR an
Associate’s Degree in a related technical field plus eight
years related experience is required
Math computation skills and
understanding of contract plans and specifications
Good oral communication
skills and ability to organize information effectively.
