The wet infrastructure sector we serve encompasses a variety of water-related projects and programs ranging from water supply, treatment and storage to water resources management and coastal restoration, and from design and construction of hydropower and renewable energy facilities to full environmental services. Description Successful applicant will work with a multidiscipline group of engineers and technicians providing technical services to public and private sector clients including corporate marketing and business development activities. Primary duties include control systems engineering, control strategy planning, detailed analyses, automation designs, and construction services related to water and wastewater treatment plants; planning studies, detailed analyses and designs, and construction services related to pumping stations. Experience with equipment selections, cost estimating, equipment layout and coordination with other engineering disciplines is a must. PLC, HMI and SCADA system planning, design, programming and upgrade. Successful applicant would be expected to be proficient in: . Assisting with control systems testing, field testing and system acceptance including operational readiness testing (ORT) and combined operational readiness testing (CORT). . Assisting with review of contractor and equipment supplier submittals. . Assisting technical staff with equipment supplier shop inspections and tests. . Preparing conceptual reports and construction documents (plans and specifications). . Assisting technical staff with field activities including site inspections, equipment commissioning and start-up, equipment performance testing, monitoring and other fieldwork. . I&C engineering and analyses related to various water, wastewater, and industrial waste treatment facilities; dams; and hydroelectric related projects. . Supporting multi-disciplinary teams on engineering projects. . Performing calculations and developing drawings and specifications for construction. Drawings for construction include process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's), network communication block diagrams, control panel details and instrument installation details. . Reviewing electrical schematic diagrams and coordinate the I&C requirements with the electrical discipline. . Working on CAD to produce final design documents. . Assisting in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs and completing progress reports. . Reviewing Contractor's shop drawing and submittals regarding electrical and I&C work and investigating and developing engineered solutions to Contractor's Requests for Information . Assisting technical staff in field activities including site inspections, shop inspections, monitoring and other fieldwork. . Working in a manner to ensure personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies. Qualifications Bachelors of Science in Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, or equivalent is required and four (4) years experience. PE in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Required.
