Job Description:

Block-Dickson, Inc., a leading distributor for the Rite-Hite Corporation, has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative in the Jackson, MS area.
Our Sales Professionals work within protected territories to represent our various lines of products and services. This position is responsible for selling repair services, maintenance programs, upgrade packages, parts, as well as Rite Hite's line of aftermarket solutions and accessary products. Our customer base includes anyone with a loading dock, with emphasis on Fortune 500 manufacturers and distribution centers. This is an outside sales position, with responsibility for growing existing accounts, prospecting and securing new customers, and introducting new products and services to the marketplace.

Experience and Skills:
We pride ourselves on having not only the best products, but the best representation in the material handling industry. Therefore, successful candidates will combine a 4 year degree with a minimum of 3 years successful outside sales experience in an industrial setting. In addition, our Sales Representatives must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and be skilled at building productive business relationships. Sales Representatives must have good knowledge of their territory and its customer base, be able to develop solid territory business plans, and be able to effectively cover their territories on a daily basis (no relocation assistance will be provided). A good mechanical aptitude is helpful, and a strong work ethic and desire to succeed is essential.
