Hanson Building Products America is seeking a high energy BRICK & CONCRETE BLOCK SALES REPRESENTATIVE for its Richmond metro location.

POSITION SUMMARY
You will produce results by establishing and maintaining relationships with masons, contractors, specifiers, and state/county/city public works departments personnel for the purpose of selling products within the Virginia & Maryland area while focusing on growing existing and prospective customers to increase market share and improving profit margins.
OUR EXPECTATIONS - YOUR RESULTS
1. Marketing and selling products within the Virginia & Maryland area. 2. Targeting and acquiring new accounts by calling on various customers in Virginia & Maryland. 3. Building relationships with customers to create awareness of Hanson products. 4. Strengthening and growing existing customer relationships. 5. Representing Hanson at industry functions and trade shows. 6. Managing activities within assigned cost budgets. 7. Effectively execute administrative duties including but not limited to reports of call, weekly activities, business justifications, and monthly reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience required. 2. Minimum of three years experience in both sales and a masonry related position. 3. Intermediate skills in MS Word and MS Excel. 4. Outstanding relationship building skills. 5.Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. 6. Flexibility and willingness to travel
