The position of Project Inspector located in Richmond, Virginia will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver intelligent solutions to ensure quality project delivery. As a Vanir employee you will be a vital member working with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors on the inspection of large public facility projects with a maintained focus on customer satisfaction. This person will primarily be overseeing the daily reports and coordination activities of multiple entities, and be point of communication for the facility director. Job Requirements
* Ideal candidates will possess 5-7 years of building inspection experience on public facility construction projects. * Knowledge and experience with construction inspection processes, systems, means, methods, and materials is required. * Experience in managing contractor's work and progress of construction to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, code, and schedule is necessary. * Experience providing quality assurance and quality control on projects is desired. * Ability to effectively communicate with both project staff and contractors is crucial. * Good communication, writing, and computer skills are essential. * Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related degree is preferred.
