PROJECT ENGINEERING Assist Project Manager with providing Construction Management services for cabling installation scope, building controls, and electrical inspections. This position will also assist with coordination, scheduling, inspections, and other necessary CM efforts concurrent with other ongoing construction work. Understands client expectations and requested deliverables.· Act as primary point of contact for cabling contractor.· Ensures that proper project procedures are adhered to.· Review Submittals, RFI, and other documents as required. Provide recommendations.· Assist Construction Manager with field coordination and inspection. · Prepare estimates for change orders associated with cabling scope, review contractor proposals.· Ability to receive favorable background clearance from Department of Homeland Security is required prior to start of the job· 3+ years of experience in construction industry as project engineer, construction manager, inspector or related experience. · Must have strong background in electrical and building controls systems· Bachelor of Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture is required· Working experience with Prolog/Proliance and/or ePM is preferred· GSA experience is preferred
