Tony’s Cement Works started in small residential concrete building mainly driveways and sidewalks in 1977. In 1986 TCW expanded into heavy/highway construction for the State of Nebraska and the Federal Government. In the late 80's TCW expanded into environmental construction. TCW began removing underground storage tanks in 1988, and has performed similar work for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), United States Air Force (USAF), United States Amy Corps of Engineers (USACE) and other various government agencies. TCW continued to expand into hazardous waste removals, remediation systems installations, and operation and maintenance of remediation systems. Tony’s Cement Works became TCW Construction Inc. in 1998. Also, in 1998, TCW acquired a Butler Manufacturing dealership. TCW became a Butler Builder and has dedicated itself to this new area of service. TCW continues to expand and diversify to stay competitive in today’s construction markets.
In 1999, TCW began supplying ready-mixed concrete from a portable batch plant to the Lincoln area under the name Husker Concrete LLC. Husker Concrete provides all standard concrete mix designs as well as any special designs that may be required. Husker's current fleet of 15 concrete mixer trucks allows prompt delivery service throughout the Lincoln area.

Laborer Laborers work in with carpenters, finishers, operators, and forman to build many different types of work including but not limited to: Concrete Paving, Box Culverts, Storm Sewer, Sanitary Sewer, Water Line, Metal Buildings, Finish Floors, Foundations, Concrete Structures, Sidewalks, and Bike Trails. TCW performs a lot of work for various government entities so employees must meet E-Verify Requirments.Other Benefits:

TCW and Husker Concrete are located just outside of downtown Lincoln, NE. Lincoln is a city of approximately 300,000 and continues to have a small city atmosphere. A majority of TCW’s work is in the Lincoln and Omaha area. The construction season in Lincoln runs from approximately March through December and varies slightly from year to year depending weather. TCW is usually able to perform some work throughout the entire year, but construction is slow In January, February and into March.
