Position Summary
Assists more experienced associates in the preparation of chain-link fabric for galvanizing – to include pinning rolls of woven fabric at the beginning of the line and/or rolling galvanized fabric at the end of the line. Tags finished galvanized rolls with correct nursery tags. Uses forklift to replenish raw material and to transport finished product to correct storage locations in the yard.Work Performed

* Work with more experienced Galvanizing associates to learn operations and safety
* Become familiar with various product lines, quality requirements and plant goals
* Familiar with storage locations for wire rolls and other related raw material and products
* Safely operate forklift equipment to replenish wire chain-link rolls and to move finished product to storage locations
* Completes daily inspection sheet prior to using power equipment and follows all other safety policies and procedures
* Keeps own and adjacent work area clean
* Performs incidental work assignments as required to include assisting in other manufacturing departments as needed to meet production demands
Job Requirements :
Position Requirements
* High School graduate or equivalent
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* Previous industrial machine operating experienced preferred
* Good math skills - able to work with fractions
* Ability to lift 75lbs
* Ability to safely operate forklift equipment and pass Master Halco certification processAbility to work in a team environment to achieve Plant goals
