Summary This position requires various activities in support of the Heavy & Highway Division. General duties include shoveling, mechanical assistance, raking, sweeping, and lifting, pushing and pulling various objects.
This position requires the ability to perform strenuous physical activities in varying weather conditions, including the ability to lift up to 100 pounds periodically.
Other requirements include: valid drivers license, 3 years experience in the heavy and highway construction industry with an emphasis on road and site construction preferred. Familiarity with State of CT DOT specifications is also preferred.
