Description: This position will perform a broad array of material handling and physical construction duties, including cleaning equipment and work areas. Must be familiar with materials, tools and machinery used in the construction industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform demolition work, level earth, mix, pour and smooth concrete, prepare layouts, erect framework for structures, lay sub floor, apply ceiling and walls, weld, signal operators and other construction related tasks.
Clean equipment and work areas.
Adhere to the Company’s safety program.
Follow directions given by Superintendent.
Work on all aspects of the construction project.
Operate general construction equipment.
Perform work of a quality level consistent with the Company’s standards.
Complete miscellaneous jobs according to instructions given by Superintendent.
Work overtime as needed.
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance/punctuality
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required
1-3 months related construction experience and/or training preferred.
Must be reliable and a hard worker
Able to work well in a team environment
