Requisition ID 9460BR Job Title Carpenter Location Bellevue, WA Job Description As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM's mission by: Taking personal responsibility for safety in the working environment and promoting safety among your peers, subordinates, and supervisors Erecting and stripping various types of concrete formwork systems Installing miscellaneous metalwork items such as platforms, stairs, and handrails Studying blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the dimensions of a structure Selecting materials that meet appearance and specified load requirements Setting/installing miscellaneous concrete embeds such as waterstops and anchor bolts Possibly assisting with concrete pouring, finishing and forming Possibly assisting with pipe work, cutting, positioning, joining, aligning and sealing sections of pipe Mentoring less experienced and less skilled workers Job Requirements A successful CDM candidate will have: A high school diploma or its equivalent (preferred) At least 4 years of concrete construction experience or equivalent technical training and experience On-the-job training General knowledge of concrete construction means and methods The ability to read blueprints The ability to perform work that requires close filings and fine finishes Familiarity with and the ability to use the various tools required for the trade Additional Information CDM has consistently earned industry recognition for our innovative project solutions.
