Description
Provide senior logistics support to the AWACS Block 40/45 Program. Provide support and oversight of Technical Order (TO) development, aircraft, depot and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) sparing and integration, Diminishing Manufacturing Source (DMS) identification and analysis, tooling, Mission Crew Training System (MCTS), Maintenance trainers, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Documentation (GFD), and supply chain management to include procurement and storage. Apply all elements of logistics and related logistic areas to the AWACS Weapons System for life sycle planning and support. Identify and develop new acquistion program documentation IAW DOD directives, policies. Requires knowledge of performance based logistics to utilize innovative logistical support concepts and logistics modeling techniques to predict maintenance and provisioning levels and associated costs. Must be a self-starter and able to produce results in an environment that may be absent of direct supervisory oversight. Requires active SECRET clearance.






Education, Training & Experience
Experience with Source of Repair Assignment Process (SORAP), Depot Planning, Support Equipment Development/Procurement, Support to Equipment Design/Manufacture, Spares Identification and Provisioning, Spares Acquisition included in Production (SAIP), Technical Manual Development, Validation, Training Development/Administration and Long Lead identification/procurement, Support to Configuration Control Board, Support to Source Selection.
BS Degree and 10 years of experience
MS Degree and 8 years of experience
PhD and 2 years of experience
Secret clearance required. Program access required.
This position may be assigned to a Jacobs teammate company.





Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.

Work Environment
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)

Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
