APAC Tennessee, Inc. is one of the nations largest highway construction companies and is considering applicants for the position of laborer with our Base and Grading operations. This position requires up to 25% overnight travel. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures both hot and cold. This is a labor intensive position and requires working in extreme temperatures both hot and cold 100% of the time. Overtime, as well as some night and weekend work is required.

Requirements
Prior experience operating a backhoe/trackhoe/loader/other heavy equipment strongly preferred. *Forklift operations are not relevant to the highway construction industry.
Performs a wide variety of physical labor functions associated with the highway construction industry. ? Capable of passing required physical examination/drug screen/E-verify ? Able to speak and comprehend basic English ? Knowledge of basic tools and their uses ? Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication) ? Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure ? Good attendance and positive attitude a must
