Have a thorough understanding of the timekeeping and payroll processes and IT systems to ensure that mechanisms to report / identify project cost changes are integrated. Essential Functions: · Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current cost status against an established baseline schedule. Assess the financial impact(s) related to schedule changes. · Report financial status to all levels of project and Company management as well as to the Customer. · Accumulate and access historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future cost planning and forecasting. · Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to site accounting staff in the resolution of project control cost problems. · Provide computer input and perform analytical review of reports generated. Technical Skills: · Strong PC skills including intermediate proficiency in Excel and ability to quickly learn other software programs. The ability to apply Primavera and/or MS Project is an additional plus. · Strong analytical skills · Strong written and verbal communications
