As Sr. Project Manager this individual will play a key role in providing day-to-day coordination on project activities related to municipal water wastewater programs and projects, as well as play key role in business development activities for the water / wastewater group. Project Responsibilities will include:Project management, team leadership, and mentoring of junior-level staff.Prepare studies, evaluations, and master plans for a variety of municipal water wastewater projects.Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates engineering work. Also, supervises the design and ongoing progress of a project with City, State, and County officials, and other outside agencies or clients.Serves as a liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams.Reviews plans and prepares or reviews technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.Participates in contract bidding and administration; observes project action on site.Leads, coordinates and reviews the work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project. Business Development Responsibilities will include:Strategy development and discussions with Senior management and project teams related to potential pursuits. Schedule, conduct and attend meetings with potential clients to learn more about the potential pursuits. Serves as a liaison between potentialBS in Civil Engineering, or related, required.MS in Civil Engineering, or related, preferred.Current PE license is required.Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in water wastewater programs is a must.Project management and design experience of water and/or sewer projects is preferred.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Proficiency with AutoCAD, standard MS Office is required. Water or wastewater modeling software and GIS is a plus
