LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT Jacobs is currently looking for a mid-level Landscape Architect to work for our national Urban Planning and Design group in our St. Louis location. Primary Job Responsibilities: Under minimal supervision, works under the Team Leader, Project Manager, or Department Manager on complex and novel assignments requiring design, planning, and landscape architectural solutions with state of the art thinking and techniques. The position is required to coordinate technical and administrative activities with multiple design teams of Architects, Engineers, other design team disciplines and/or sub-consultants and contractors that are in multiple locations across the US. Perform research, design, and planning on a variety of landscape and master planning projects (i.e. campus & community plans, land use & master plans, and site design) for private and public clients. Develop site & landscape design including construction detailing from the schematic design through construction documents and construction administration. Plans layout of project and integrates landscape and planning elements into a unified design for client review and approval. Participate and conducts public, client and internal meetings and workshops. Develops written reports, recommendations, and planning documents. Have a minimum of a BachelorĂ¢?Ts degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution. Hold registration (landscape architecture) in one or more of the 50 United States or the ability to obtain registration within 18 months of the employment start date Be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance Be willing to travel both domestically and internationally with occasional extended stays Must hold a valid US drivers license Must have a minimum of 3-8 years of professional experience Must demonstrate excellent writing, verbal, presentation, and graphic communication skills Must have a demonstrated proficiency working in GIS (ESRI v 9/10), CAD (Microstation (preferred) or AutoCAD ), Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and MS Office (including Power Point). Experience with Land F/X desired. BIM (Revit) is not required but considered an asset
